Merlin Epos uses a modular base hardware platform. This allows you to configure your terminal as you need it.

A typical Epos terminal will consist of one of our all in one touchscreen options, featuring fanless technology (to eliminate noise) along with an Epson thermal label printer and (if required) a further Epson barcode printer. Alongside this a barcode scanner (usually Metrologic) and cash drawer are required, If you have no broadband access then we are also able to provide a modem router to get you up and running.

It is however possible to utilise a standard PC as the basis of the system and add on peripherals as required. Futhermore, in many cases we have utilised existing Epos equipment where customers have elected to opt out from their existing supplier and move to us.

In most cases, on a new installation, Coland Systems will provide all of the required hardware and deliver it, pre-loaded with the necessary software, so all you have to do (if you elect to do a self install) is plug it in and get ready to trade.

	Coland Systems are able to provide a range of other peripherals to operate with your Melin Epos terminal, such as cradle and wireless stocktaking devices, broadband madems and routers etc., dependant upon your requirements. Please contact us if you have a specific requirement
