The Firewood Company specialise in the provision of firewood for domestic and commercial customers. The raw firewood is carefully selected and in most cases seasoned in airing sheds for several months prior to sale. The Firewood Company approached Coland Systems as they were struggling with the process of managing stock levels along with customer information and invoicing. Coland Systems discussed in depth their requirements and built a customer quick order module, allowing them to quickly access their customers and their order history (for quickly provisioning re-orders). After taking an order the system then allowed for the creation of a delivery time slot (if required) and latterly created a pick list and delivery note. On completion of the pick list a customised invoice was then created and was logged to an invoice registry, allowing them to analyse paid / unpaid invoices and aged creditors etc. This installation is a good example of Coland Systems ability to understand a diverse client requirement and quickly and effectively alleviate the issue by use of innovative software development.
