Anchor Shoes, are an institution in Carmarthen, opened in 1971 by Mr. Fred Voaden and subsequently taken over by his son Nigel. In 2001 they moved to a new permises and undertook a stunning refit. Coland Systems have been involved with Anchor Shoes for many years and our software has very much evolved with them. Nigel and Susan Voaden use the system extensively and rely heavily on the reporting features to analyse stock holding and sales in order to ensure that replenishment stock is purchased in line with salers and profit. The range planning facility is also extremely beneficial in that previous seasons sales and stock holding can be analysed to ensure that forward orders are placed with the 'hot' suppliers and in the correct proportions. The in-built replenishment stock facility has been designed to automatically calculate the stock required to ensure capital is spent in the most profitable areas, whether that be by supplier or category. This function alone ensures that the process is quick and accurate and saves many hours discussing with staff the best products and equating that to your stock levels.
