Shortly after retiring as managing director of Fii (Lotus Shoes), Mr. Graham Williamson elected to purchase two shoe shops in the Staffordshire area, one in Stafford itself and the other in Tettenhall.

Graham was aware that a key element of effectively managing his operation was a dependable and reliable retail system that would suit his requirements.

Having spoken to several vendors, Graham elected to proceed with an installation from Coland Systems, including an Epos terminal for each branch. Coland Systems were on site to give the necessary training required for the smooth inroduction of the system and latterly introduced the Epos terminals (including training) prior to the re-launch of the The Shoe Tree.

Since then, Graham's operation has gone from strength to strength and in 2008 a further shop was purchased in Stone. The Stone site was to be run as a clearing site for the other 2 shops and as a result Coland Systems worked with Graham to introduce new processes to allow for sequential labelling for products to ensure that matching pairs were always sold.

The built in stocktaking feature of the sofware is a particular benefit to Graham who conducts a monthly stocktake of all 3 sites using a hand held scanner. On completion (usually within 1 working day), reconciliation reports are created and all stock is updated where necessary.

Coland Systems continue to enjoy a close working relationship with Graham and his staff and we are always on hand to help with any IT issues.
